The Airfel Digifel Duo is a modern 18 kW gas boiler equipped with two heat exchangers and a closed combustion chamber. The domestic hot water (DHW) plate heat exchanger is made of stainless steel, while the primary heat exchanger for heating is made of copper.
The boiler uses a classic hydraulic scheme and can heat up to 11 liters of water per minute with a Δt of 25˚C. It's especially well-suited for areas with low cold water pressure, as the Digifel Duo operates in DHW mode from as low as 0.5 bar. Its 18 kW thermal capacity allows heating of rooms up to 220 m².
The control panel includes two knobs and an LCD display, which shows essential information such as operation mode, temperature, and fault codes. The system pressure manometer is located at the bottom of the unit.
The unit features a low-energy-consumption Grundfos pump with a 3-speed selector. Switching between heating and DHW is handled by a 3-way motorized valve.
The boiler includes 13 different safety systems and supports connection to a room programmer, ensuring reliable and user-friendly operation.
