The Netis WF2160 is a compact dual-band USB Wi-Fi adapter powered by the Realtek RTL8811CU chipset. It supports IEEE 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, delivering up to 200 Mbps on 2.4 GHz and up to 433 Mbps on 5 GHz. With 802.11 n MIMO 2×2 and 802.11 ac technologies, the adapter ensures reliable, high-speed wireless connectivity even in multi-room apartments or environments with numerous physical obstacles.
Plug-and-play functionality means no additional driver installation is required: simply insert the WF2160 into any USB port on your Windows (7/8/10/11) PC or supported Linux distro (rtl8811cu or rtl88x2bu drivers), and it will be recognized automatically. For older systems (Windows XP/Vista), drivers are included on the supplied CD or can be downloaded from the Netis website.
A high-gain external antenna (5 dBi) comes in the box, allowing you to adjust its direction for optimal reception. This is especially useful when your router is located on a different floor or behind several walls. By rotating and aiming the antenna, you can eliminate dead spots up to 10–12 meters away, delivering smooth streaming and uninterrupted online sessions.
